Salty and Spicy Plantain Chips

  • 4 Medium ripe plantains
  • 1tsp Cameroon pepper(pepper flakes works)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  1. Wash your plantains and pat dry. Peel the skin and slice it using a mandolin or a potato peeler
  2. Heat oil to 350 degrees and fry the plantain in batches making sure to stir continuously to prevent burning. Fry until golden brown but not burnt. Pour unto a paper towel to drain. Season with salt and pepper(toss) while still hot and set aside
