Red Curry Stew…My Funny Valentine…

Every year, I write and take photos of food or drinks to celebrate each season or holiday and Valentine always makes the cut. Not only must I have a post honoring the not so holiday, but I must celebrate it because yes Nigerianlazychef was birthed on Valentine’s day…Hmm, may be I should declare it a holiday then.

The last few years have been tough but worth it. I am focused on what I want this blog to be. There were days I just wanted to give up, but like my mother says “Nothing good comes easy.”

I am happy for those who know me and have stood by me. I am happy for the opening of my catering services and my online school. It has been a slow start but I know it will get better and better.

Now to the recipe:

Every Valentine, I like to share recipes that have to do with eroticism. Don’t be scared, I keep it PG on these streets. But if you want to follow me and read my erotic stories, I have a blog here…where you can subscribe to get monthly erotic stories. Anyway, back to Valentine. I wanted to make a Nigerian red bell pepper stew with some palm oil and locust beans. While I was thinking about it, I could not only smell the deliciousness, but I could taste it in my mouth. I planned the whole thing and wrote down the recipe. By the time, it got to cooking, I found myself making this curried sauce.

This curry sauce is like the prelude to a very seductive valentine. It’s quick, it’s easy and you’ll have extra time to practice the fragile art of seduction on your partner.

For this recipe, I have used some ingredients to help you propel your partner into the valentine mood.

The red bell pepper used in the mix is known to be rich in vitamin c. They help lower stress levels and increase the feel good hormones in our body. They are known as sex stimulators.

I used a large chili pepper for this recipe. Normally, I would take out the seeds, but I added the seeds to this bad boy and the heat was breath taking, but not literally. Chili peppers are very popular aphrodisiacs. They release Adrenaline that increases your heart rate. Therefore, giving way to sexual arousal.

Tomatoes have not been proven to be aphrodisiacs, but they are known as the “apple of love.” They contain acids which enhance blood flow as well as Lycopene, an antioxidant that helps in keeping the prostrate healthy.

what more could you want?

This recipe can also be used at anytime. It must not be valentine for you to make some great curry. You could want something different for your Sunday rice and stew and viola! Curry sauce!

You could also make it a green curry sauce if you have no paprika. Trust that you would still love it all the same.
