Ingredients
  • 13 chicken wings
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tbsp. of red grinded pepper, Cameroon pepper or red chili flakes(optional)
  • 3 cups of Corn flakes(crumbled) or 2 cups of bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp black pepper(use ⅛ tsp uziza seeds if you have no black pepper)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 garlic cloves(grated)
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Wash and pat chicken dry
  2. Season with salt only and let marinate for about 1hour.
  3. While the chicken is marinating mix the eggs with the dry pepper and black pepper and whisk until well combined
  4. Mix the corn flakes or bread crumbs with a little salt to taste and set aside
  5. Pour the soy sauce, honey and the garlic into a small sauce pan and heat up slowly. Once you have brought it to a boil, turn the heat off and set the sauce aside.
To cook the chicken
  1. Toss the chicken in the egg mix, making sure each piece is thoroughly soaked with the egg; then coat each one in the crumbled corn flakes and place unto a none stick pan or unto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a 375 preheated oven for about 20 minutes (flipping once) until crispy or until the juices run clear.
  2. Once the chicken is done, toss it in the sauce and serve
Notes
Make sure you don't crumble the corn flakes into fine powder in order to keep the chicken crunchy
