Spicy Nigerian Style Chicken Wings

Ingredients
(1)for chicken
  • 12 medium sized chicken wings
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1tsp Cameroon pepper
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 1.2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 bouillon(optional)
  • salt to taste
(2)for marinade
  • 3tbsps plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves(mashed)
  • ½ knob ginger(grated)
  • 1tsp Cameroon pepper
  • ½ tsp uziza pepper(piper guineense)(grounded)
Instructions
  1. Massage the ingredients from option 1 into the chicken and set aside.
  2. Whip the yogurt with the ingredients in option 2 and pour over the chicken and rub into the chicken; using your hands.
  3. Pour the chicken mix into a lidded bowl or a storage bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 1-12 hours.
  4. Fire up your grill or oven to 350-375 degrees.
  5. If using an oven. Line a cookie sheet with a parchment or foil paper. (do not grease).
  6. Place the chicken on to the pan and cook for about 20 minutes; making sure to flip once.
  7. For extra browning, broil for about 1-2minutes after chicken is done.
